Question:
I’m a runner and am physically active almost every day of the week. I’m planning on having a facelift within the next 3 months and was wondering how long until I could run again after the surgery?
Answer:
Most surgeons will recommend 10-14 days post surgery without any strenuous activity. This is the period where you are at most risk for bleeding. It also depends on how well you progress after surgery. You should discuss this with your surgeon as everyone has their own preference.
