Question: The tip of my nose looks like it has a bulb on it and I think I would look better if it were made a bit smaller. Is fixing this nose problem called rhinoplasty? Can my nose be fixed from inside the nose?
Answer: Many rhinoplasties are done to improve only the tip of the nose. Sometimes this is referred to as "tip rhinoplasty". One does not necessarily have to have an external incision to make this correction. Many younger surgeons are not being trained in this "endonasal" technique.
